This work package focuses on building a shared understanding and trust between universities and community organizations through structured dialogue and knowledge exchange. It creates the foundation for meaningful collaboration by bringing together diverse stakeholders to explore needs, discover resources, and identify opportunities for partnership.
Key Activities & Outputs:
- Mini-Publics Guidelines: Step-by-step methodology for organizing effective deliberative discussions between universities and community organizations, replicable across different contexts and countries.
- Deliberative Mini-Publics: Three facilitated discussion events (Denmark, Italy, Poland) bringing together 36+ participants to explore collaboration possibilities and co-create solutions to shared challenges.
- Reciprocal Mentorships: Six mentorship pairs matching university staff with NGO/CSO professionals for mutual learning and skill development. Mentorships run for a minimum of three months, fostering personal connections and knowledge exchange.
- Mentorship Framework: Practical guide for establishing and maintaining effective reciprocal mentorships, including recruitment strategies, matching criteria, and activity suggestions.
Awareness Guide: Comprehensive resource documenting collaboration needs, available resources, success factors, and partnership opportunities identified through Mini-Publics and mentorships. Serves as the knowledge base for future collaborations.
