Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań is the major academic institution in Poznań and one of the top Polish universities. The Accreditation Council for Entrepreneurial & Engaged Universities

The Accreditation Council for Entrepreneurial & Engaged Universities (ACEEU) is an international quality assurance and project development body dedicated to advancing higher education by supporting universities in their transformation process towards becoming more entrepreneurial and socially engaged.

Founded in 2016 as part of the University Industry Innovation Network (UIIN) in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, ACEEU spun out of UIIN in 2019 to form an independent organisation, and moved its headquarters to Muenster, Germany. ACEEU has 11 staff members and is backed by a 45+ person strong Council composed of international experts in entrepreneurship and social engagement. ACEEU is an affiliate of ENQA (European Network for Quality Assurance in Higher Education) and a full-fledged member of INQAAHE (International Network for Quality Assurance Agencies in Higher Education).

ACEEU is recognised as a trusted EU project partner, currently working with more than 300 higher education institutions, VET providers, governmental institutions and public bodies, non-profit organisations as well as companies and SMEs, covering +35 countries within and outside the EU. Next to projects funded through competitive calls, ACEEU also provides its services through subcontracting and consulting agreements (for example for other EU projects or the European Institute of Technology).

Centrum Promocji i Rozwoju Inicjatyw Obywatelskich (PISOP)

The PISOP Centre Association was established in the year 2000. The participants believe in the importance and strength of citizens’ initiatives, NGOs and social enterprises. They support NGOs and social enterprises at every stage of their work by offering advice, information, training and innovative solutions. The PISOP Centre cooperate with authorities, companies, and universities.

Activity is focused on three areas: Empowering Civic Engagement; Developing Social Entrepreneurship; and Promoting Cooperation.

The PISOP Centre helps with creating social enterprises and supports their development by advising in the following aspects: building local partnerships, management, law, finance, accounting, marketing, human resources, and sustainability on the market. The PISOP Centre promotes social entrepreneurship by including it in public policies and company strategies.

Universita Degli Studi Di Camerino

University of Camerino (UNICAM) is a ‘city campus university’ chartered in 1336, with about 600 staff, about 8,000 undergraduate students, and 180 PhD candidates, of which about 40% are international students. High quality of student services and excellence in education and research are the main strategies of the University of Camerino. UNICAM is the first university in Italy to introduce quality control procedures in its institutional activities. It is holder of quality control certification of ISO 9001:2000 for all university activities and services such as tutoring services, placement, cultural and sporting activities.

UNICAM has been actively involved in international projects, mainly with European partners, such as Ministries of Education, Culture, Science and other national education agencies, universities and research centres as well as European & international organizations (e.g. the Organization for Economic Cooperation Development, European University Association, International EA, European Distance Education Network, European Association of Distance Teaching Universities, European SchoolNet, European Parents Association) and the private sector – mostly the media & ICT industry (companies and associations, like the eLearning Industry Group). One of its core competences refers to the successful quality assessment and validation of project results.

Aalborg University

Aalborg University was established in 1974, and its leading teaching and learning approach has been problem-based learning (PBL), a student-centred approach, where learners expand their knowledge and problem-solving skills within a subject area and do it through the experience of solving an open-ended problem found in the material. The PBL approach believes that students learn best and most efficiently when presented with an authentic problem, which they attempt to solve by combining theory and research-based knowledge. According to the Times Higher Education Young University Ranking, in 2020 Aalborg University was ranked the 23rd university in the world. 

The university is a young and dynamic institution with more than 20,000 students and 3,000 staff. The offers of education and research span from the social and natural sciences, humanities, technical and health sciences. With its 3 campuses (Aalborg, Copenhagen, and Esbjerg) the university has been involved in over 150 Horizon 2020 projects, 60 Erasmus+ Key Action 2 projects, and 3 Erasmus+ Joint Masters.
